Tiles made of Soft Concrete
WALL TILES made of Soft Concrete have a vivid expression. It gives a harmonic impression to use the same material on the wall and the floor, e.g. between the cupboards and the tabletops. Then it is a good idea to use half the size, e.g if you have 250 mm on the floor, you use 125 mm on the wall. There are great possibilities. There are 250 colours to choose from.
Drop and Relief
Apart from plane tiles in Soft Concrete, Johans Golv has two three dimensional tiles, Drop and Relief. Drop is designed by Jenny Oldsjö and Ragnar Hultgren. Drop is suited to work with patterns, rather than colours. Therefore it is most common to use white Drop. The same goes for Relief with its slanted edge, either to the right or to the left. By twisting and turning the tiles, a large number of patterns can be created. Eva Kai-Larsen, who has designed Relief, can help to create patterns. Read more about Drop and Relief, and see more examples of how the tiles have been used.
