SOFT CONCRETE

Pleasant concrete

TABLETOPS FOR KITCHENS in Soft concrete have a number of advantages compared to other materials:

-Less noise in the kitchen with a softer tabletop

-Resistant to staining

-Heat resistant

-Tailor made, each tabletop is hand made adapted to your requirements

-Simple care

Compared to stone, the Soft Concrete is less noisy when you put down glasses and china. It is a material that is pleasant to lean against and to work on. Stone on the other hand feels hard and cold. The Soft Concrete gives a warn feeling because it has lower heat conductivity.

The Soft Concrete is durable against heat; you can put a kettle with boiling water directly on the tabletop. It also resists ordinary household spillage, such as wine, oil, coffee etc. Some stone material and ordinary concrete is sensible to staining, but with our surface treatment, which is applied at the production, staining can be avoided.

The maintenance of the tabletop made of Soft Concrete is very little compared to ordinary concrete that have to be waxed or oiled regularly. Read more under Maintenance. Since our tabletops are tailor made, we can of course make holes for cook tops and sinks. All tabletops are hand made in our workshop in Tyresö.

Price example:

A tabletop 600 mm deep, 30 mm thick and 1600 mm long costs about SEK 3 995 ex VAT.

You decide the shape (thickness, depth and length) and colour of your tabletop. There are more than 250 colours to choose from. The length is normally up to about 2 meter. The maximum length depends on the thickness and the depth. The tabletops should not weigh more than 70 kg – otherwise they will be very difficult to handle and install.

Welcome to make contact so that we can calculate the weight and find a solution.
